Our custom volleyball uniforms are designed around the libero from the first sketch, because the rules require that one player to stand out from every teammate. Building the contrast in early avoids a mismatched shirt added at the last minute.
What color does the libero jersey have to be?
Any color that contrasts clearly with every teammate's jersey; FIVB, NCAA and NFHS rules set the contrast, not the shade. Many programs reverse the team colors on a long-sleeve top, so the libero stands out to officials while still looking like part of the same uniform. Tell us your code and we check it.
What fabric are volleyball jerseys made from?
Jerseys use a polyester-rich stretch knit that recovers its shape, dye sublimated so numbers and graphics move with the fabric instead of cracking. Spandex shorts are poly-spandex jersey, 88% polyester and 12% elastane, which grips without riding up, and warm-up hoodies for the bench come in French terry.

What should you check before ordering custom volleyball uniforms?
Choose a stretch fabric that springs back, so jerseys keep their hem through a whole season.
Spandex shorts should have a broad, flat waistband and a gusset, so they stay in place through digs and dives.
Settle the libero contrast before the artwork is final. A long-sleeve jersey in reversed colors is the usual solution.
What do volleyball rules say about uniforms?
FIVB, NCAA and NFHS rules all require the libero's jersey to contrast clearly with every teammate's uniform; the exact colors are your choice. Front and back number heights differ between codes, and USA Volleyball publishes its own for club play. Name your code and the uniform is built to it.
