Polyester knit short with a longer, roomier leg for men's teams and practice: elastic and drawcord waist, hip ease +16 cm. Standard inseam 18 cm (7 in) men's, 13 cm (5 in) women's, 15 cm youth.

How to measure
- Waist
- Around the natural waist, the narrowest part of the torso a little above the belly button, after a normal breath out. Do not pull in.
- Hip
- Heels together, around the widest part of the hips and seat, tape level.
- Size by waist; the drawcord takes up the rest.
- Leg length can be set per player; the outseam changes by the same amount.

- 1/2 waist (relaxed)
- Lay flat, waistband unstretched; measure straight across the top edge.
- 1/2 waist (stretched)
- Same line, with the waistband gently stretched to its full width.
- 1/2 hip
- Lay flat; measure straight across 18 cm below the top of the waistband (12 cm on youth sizes).
- Inseam (standard)
- From the crotch seam down the inside leg to the hem.
- Outseam
- From the top of the waistband down the side to the hem.
- 1/2 leg opening
- Lay flat; measure straight across the leg hem.

About the custom volleyball athletic shorts
Custom athletic volleyball shorts are cut longer than spandex, for men's teams and for practice. They suit players who want room in the leg rather than compression, and coaches who want one practice short for the whole program.
Men's teams often prefer a short that falls further down the thigh. Women's teams sometimes want something looser for training days. One design covers both uses. Inseams can be chosen per player, so the length is right for each person rather than set once for the squad.
For match play, tell us your code and send its uniform rules, and the numbers are sized to them. For practice, the shorts can carry the crest without numbers. They pair with VB-003 short-sleeve or VB-005 sleeveless jerseys and VB-018 team tees, and VB-020 knee pads in the same colors finish a practice kit. Each comes in a men's and a women's cut of its own. A handful of practice shorts for new players can be added whenever they join. A free digital mockup comes first, then a sample in 10 days from approved artwork.
