Choose a size from the body measurements. The garment measurements are the finished piece laid flat, so you can compare it with a top or short that already fits.
Body measurements
Relaxed fleece sweatpant with elastic drawcord waist and an open, straight hem. Hip ease +20 cm (relaxed band, roomy seat and thigh); relaxed waistband = body waist minus 8 cm, stretches to body waist plus 12 cm. Full-length inseam.

How to measure
- Waist
- Around the natural waist, the narrowest part of the torso a little above the belly button, after a normal breath out. Do not pull in.
- Hip
- Heels together, around the widest part of the hips and seat, tape level.
- Inseam
- Barefoot, feet slightly apart: from the crotch straight down the inside of the leg to the floor (or ankle bone for a trouser inseam). Easiest measured on a pair of well-fitting pants, crotch seam to hem.
- Height
- Barefoot, back against a wall, heels touching it, looking straight ahead: mark the top of the head with a flat object and measure floor to mark.
- Choose by waist and hip; the fleece pant is generous through seat and thigh.
- Fleece can shrink 2-3% in length after a hot wash: wash cool and line-dry or tumble low.
- If you want an elastic cuff instead of an open hem, use the jogger chart.

How to measure
- 1/2 waist (relaxed)
- Lay flat, waistband unstretched, measure straight across the top edge.
- 1/2 waist (stretched)
- Gently stretch the waistband to its full comfortable extension (do not force the elastic) and measure straight across.
- 1/2 hip
- Lay flat, measure straight across at the widest point of the seat, about 18-20 cm below the waistband (14 cm on youth).
- 1/2 thigh
- Straight across one leg, 2.5 cm below the crotch seam.
- Front rise
- From the crotch seam up the front to the top edge of the waistband.
- Inseam
- From the crotch seam down the inside leg seam to the hem.
- 1/2 leg opening
- Straight across the hem of one leg, laid flat.
Finished measurements of our standard pattern for this cut, within ±1.5 cm½ in. Your sample confirms the fit before the order is made, and we can cut to your own size chart instead.
