Two fits on one pattern family: match fit is body-hugging (stretch panels, nothing to grab), club fit is the traditional looser jersey. Ease on body chest: match fit +4 cm, club fit +14 cm adult / +12 cm women's and youth; long body that stays tucked into the short.

How to measure
- Chest (bust for women's)
- Over a thin T-shirt or bare skin (women: over the sports bra worn to play), arms relaxed: tape under both armpits round the fullest part of the chest and shoulder blades, level. Snug, one finger under the tape.
- Height
- Barefoot, back to a wall, heels touching it: floor to the top of the head.
- Pick match fit or club fit per player and mark it on the roster; the size label is the same, the fit changes.
- Match fit is meant to be tight: between sizes, take the larger in match fit, the smaller in club fit.
- Neck style (crew, V, collar) does not change the size; front-row forwards often prefer crew or V.

How to measure
- 1/2 chest, match fit
- Lay flat, measure straight across 2.5 cm below the armholes on the match (tight) fit. Stretch panels lie relaxed, not pulled.
- 1/2 chest, club fit
- Same as 1/2 chest, on the club (classic) fit.
- Body length (HPS)
- From the highest point of the shoulder next to the collar (HPS) straight down to the hem.
- Sleeve length (from shoulder seam)
- From the shoulder seam along the top of the sleeve to the sleeve hem.
Finished measurements of our standard pattern for this cut, within ±1.5 cm½ in. Your sample confirms the fit before the order is made, and we can cut to your own size chart instead.
About the custom rugby crew-neck classic jerseys
This custom crew-neck rugby jersey keeps the classic hoops but drops the collar. A close crew neck leaves an opponent nothing at the throat to grab, and it gives the jersey a clean, uncluttered line.
It is the practical choice for front-row forwards, sevens squads and any side that wants the hooped look without a collar to manage. There are no buttons to come undone and no collar points to turn up in a scrum. The neckline sits close and stays put, and it can share artwork with the button-collar jersey (RG-001) worn by the rest of the side.
The hoops are sewn in as panels, so they hold up through tackles and scrums where a print would wear. Set the number and width of the hoops on the free mockup, then confirm each color against your Pantone references on the sample.
Pick match fit or club fit for each player, and mark it on the roster. Numbers follow your union's scheme. Pair the jersey with Classic Match Shorts (RG-007), and add matching socks to complete the kit.
