Body measurements
Two fits on one pattern family: match fit is body-hugging (stretch panels, nothing to grab), club fit is the traditional looser jersey. Ease on body chest: match fit +4 cm, club fit +14 cm adult / +12 cm women's and youth; long body that stays tucked into the short.

How to measure
- Chest (bust for women's)
- Over a thin T-shirt or bare skin (women: over the sports bra worn to play), arms relaxed: tape under both armpits round the fullest part of the chest and shoulder blades, level. Snug, one finger under the tape.
- Height
- Barefoot, back to a wall, heels touching it: floor to the top of the head.
- Pick match fit or club fit per player and mark it on the roster; the size label is the same, the fit changes.
- Match fit is meant to be tight: between sizes, take the larger in match fit, the smaller in club fit.
- Neck style (crew, V, collar) does not change the size; front-row forwards often prefer crew or V.

How to measure
- 1/2 chest, match fit
- Lay flat, measure straight across 2.5 cm below the armholes on the match (tight) fit. Stretch panels lie relaxed, not pulled.
- 1/2 chest, club fit
- Same as 1/2 chest, on the club (classic) fit.
- Body length (HPS)
- From the highest point of the shoulder next to the collar (HPS) straight down to the hem.
- Sleeve length (from shoulder seam)
- From the shoulder seam along the top of the sleeve to the sleeve hem.
Finished measurements of our standard pattern for this cut, within ±1.5 cm½ in. Your sample confirms the fit before the order is made, and we can cut to your own size chart instead.
About the custom rugby training jerseys
Custom rugby training jerseys are lighter, printed drill tops made to be replaced. They take the punishment of the week, so your match jerseys are saved for match day.
The hoops and colors are dye sublimated rather than sewn in as panels. That keeps the top lighter and simpler to make. Match weight is wasted on a drill top that will be worn through by the end of the season.
Use them for contact drills, conditioning and the gym. Numbers are optional, but some squads add them so coaches can call players by number. Choose match fit or club fit, as you would for the match jersey. Many clubs print them in the colors of the match kit, whether that is the hooped standard match uniform (RG-005) or the V-neck match jersey (RG-004), so a drill session still looks like the club.
There is no minimum, so a few can be added mid-season when players join or tops wear out. Your artwork is kept on file for the next order. Pair with Training Shorts in the same colors.
