Rugby match jersey (short sleeve; crew, V-neck or collar)
Two fits on one pattern family: match fit is body-hugging (stretch panels, nothing to grab), club fit is the traditional looser jersey. Ease on body chest: match fit +4 cm, club fit +14 cm adult / +12 cm women's and youth; long body that stays tucked into the short.

How to measure
- Chest (bust for women's)
- Over a thin T-shirt or bare skin (women: over the sports bra worn to play), arms relaxed: tape under both armpits round the fullest part of the chest and shoulder blades, level. Snug, one finger under the tape.
- Height
- Barefoot, back to a wall, heels touching it: floor to the top of the head.
- Pick match fit or club fit per player and mark it on the roster; the size label is the same, the fit changes.
- Match fit is meant to be tight: between sizes, take the larger in match fit, the smaller in club fit.
- Neck style (crew, V, collar) does not change the size; front-row forwards often prefer crew or V.
Rugby match short (short cut, reinforced)
Traditional short-leg rugby match short in tough woven-look polyester with a reinforced crotch gusset and seat, elastic and drawcord waist; about 12 cm (4.5-5 in) adult inseam to leave the thigh free. Ease: waist relaxed body -8 cm / stretched +10 cm, hip +10 cm (athletic).

How to measure
- Waist
- Round the natural waist, a little above the belly button, after a normal breath out. Do not pull in.
- Hip
- Heels together, round the widest part of the hips and seat, tape level.
- Height
- Barefoot, back to a wall, heels touching it: floor to the top of the head.
- Give each player's waist on the roster; rugby shorts are traditionally sold by waist.
- The cut is short and close by design; do not size up for length.
- Wear base-layer shorts underneath in the same size.

- Lay flat, measure straight across 2.5 cm below the armholes on the match (tight) fit. Stretch panels lie relaxed, not pulled.
- 1/2 chest, club fit
- Same as 1/2 chest, on the club (classic) fit.
- Body length (HPS)
- From the highest point of the shoulder next to the collar (HPS) straight down to the hem.
- Sleeve length (from shoulder seam)
- From the shoulder seam along the top of the sleeve to the sleeve hem.

How to measure
- 1/2 waist relaxed
- Lay flat, waistband unstretched: straight across the top edge.
- 1/2 waist stretched
- Same line, waistband gently stretched to its full width (not over-stretched).
- 1/2 hip
- Lay flat: straight across the seat at the bottom of the fly or crotch-curve start, about 18-20 cm below the waistband top.
- Inseam
- From the crotch seam down the inner leg seam to the hem.
- Outseam (side seam)
- From the top of the waistband down the side seam to the hem.
- 1/2 leg opening
- Lay flat: straight across the leg hem, edge to edge.

About the custom rugby standard match uniforms
This custom rugby match uniform is a hooped jersey and a short sold together as one set. It covers the match-day kit in a single line on the order, priced per set rather than piece by piece.
The jersey hoops are sewn in as panels, so the colors survive contact. The short is made in your matching color. Each player chooses match fit or club fit for the jersey, and forwards and backs can differ within the same squad.
Starting players are numbered 1 to 15 and replacements from 16, unless your union uses another scheme. Send a roster and each player's set is bagged and labeled with his or her name, ready to hand out at the first session.
Matching socks can be made alongside, so stripes and colors line up. For drills, add the lighter Training Jerseys (RG-008) in the same colors. Clubs heading on tour can add Short-Sleeve Team Tees and a duffel from the same order.

Yes. Classic Match Shorts (RG-007) are sold on their own too, so you can add spares by the piece.
Do socks come in the set?
No. The set is a jersey and a short. Matching socks are made alongside so the stripes and colors match.
