Traditional short-leg rugby match short in tough woven-look polyester with a reinforced crotch gusset and seat, elastic and drawcord waist; about 12 cm (4.5-5 in) adult inseam to leave the thigh free. Ease: waist relaxed body -8 cm / stretched +10 cm, hip +10 cm (athletic).

How to measure
- Waist
- Round the natural waist, a little above the belly button, after a normal breath out. Do not pull in.
- Hip
- Heels together, round the widest part of the hips and seat, tape level.
- Height
- Barefoot, back to a wall, heels touching it: floor to the top of the head.
- Give each player's waist on the roster; rugby shorts are traditionally sold by waist.
- The cut is short and close by design; do not size up for length.
- Wear base-layer shorts underneath in the same size.

How to measure
- 1/2 waist relaxed
- Lay flat, waistband unstretched: straight across the top edge.
- 1/2 waist stretched
- Same line, waistband gently stretched to its full width (not over-stretched).
- 1/2 hip
- Lay flat: straight across the seat at the bottom of the fly or crotch-curve start, about 18-20 cm below the waistband top.
- Inseam
- From the crotch seam down the inner leg seam to the hem.
- Outseam (side seam)
- From the top of the waistband down the side seam to the hem.
- 1/2 leg opening
- Lay flat: straight across the leg hem, edge to edge.

About the custom rugby classic match shorts
These custom rugby match shorts are cut short in the leg, in the traditional style, with piping down each side. They are made to sit with a hooped or color-block match jersey and look like one kit.
The piping is your second color, so it can pick up the trim on the jersey or the collar. Every color is matched to a Pantone reference and confirmed on the sample. The short leg leaves the thigh free for running, rucking and lifting in the lineout.
Give each player's waist size on the roster, and mark match fit or club fit if your squad mixes the two. The club crest and a number can go on the short at no design charge. Approve the layout on a free mockup before the sample is cut.
These are sold by the piece, not as a set. Spares and replacements are easy to add mid-season. Pair them with Button-Collar (RG-001), Crew-Neck (RG-003) or V-Neck Match Jerseys (RG-004), and Base-Layer Shorts underneath.
