Body measurements
Regular US baseball cut with 14 cm chest ease, a touch closer than the button-front because there is no placket overlap, and a body long enough to tuck. Sleeves are measured center back so raglan (crew) and set-in (V-neck) styles read the same.

How to measure
- Chest
- Over a thin T-shirt or bare skin, arms relaxed at the sides: pass the tape under both armpits and around the fullest part of the chest and the shoulder blades, level all the way round. Snug, not tight; one finger should slide under.
- Height
- Barefoot, back against a wall, heels touching it, looking straight ahead: mark the top of the head with a flat object and measure floor to mark.
- Size by chest; the neckline (V or crew) does not change the size.
- Pulls on over the head, so a player between sizes who wears a thick base layer should go up.
- Body is long enough to tuck into the game pant; for batting practice it can also be worn out.

How to measure
- 1/2 chest
- Lay the garment flat, front up, and measure straight across from side seam to side seam 2.5 cm below the armholes (pit to pit).
- Body length (HPS, back)
- From the high point of the shoulder (where the shoulder seam or raglan seam meets the collar) straight down the back to the hem.
- Sleeve length (center back)
- Center-back sleeve: from the center of the back neck seam, across the shoulder point (or along the raglan seam) and down the sleeve to the hem. Works for set-in and raglan sleeves alike.
Finished measurements of our standard pattern for this cut, within ±1.5 cm½ in. Your sample confirms the fit before the order is made, and we can cut to your own size chart instead.
About the custom baseball v-neck game jerseys
Custom V-neck baseball jerseys drop the buttons altogether. This is a pullover with a V-neck, finished with a collar in a contrast color, so the neckline itself becomes part of the trim.
With no placket, the whole front is a single decorating surface. That suits fully sublimated designs, gradients and patterns that a button-front would break up. The contrast collar is usually taken from the second team color. It can also be matched to the piping on a relaxed game pant (BS-027), so the uniform reads as one design.
V-neck pullovers suit travel teams, youth leagues and alternate uniforms, where quick dressing and a modern look count for more than tradition. On your quote, specify the collar color, script, numbers and any sleeve detail. We show all of it on the digital mockup, then confirm the colors against your Pantone references on the sample. Player names and back numbers are included in the price when printed; stitched tackle twill is quoted on request. Younger players get a pattern drafted for them.

Can the collar be a different color from the sleeves?
Yes. Collar, sleeves and body are colored independently, so the collar can pick up your piping color while the sleeves carry a pattern of their own.
Why choose a V-neck over a crew neck?
It comes down to look. The V-neck frames a contrast collar and opens the neckline slightly; the crew-neck jersey (BS-004) sits higher and leaves more room for a big script. Both are pullovers.
