Choose a size from the body measurements. The garment measurements are the finished piece laid flat, so you can compare it with a top or short that already fits.

Body measurements

Regular US baseball cut with 16 cm chest ease over the body, set-in sleeves and a long tuck-in body that stays in the pant through a swing or a slide. Worn over an undershirt or base layer; full-button and two-button plackets share this body pattern.

How to measure
Chest
Over a thin T-shirt or bare skin, arms relaxed at the sides: pass the tape under both armpits and around the fullest part of the chest and the shoulder blades, level all the way round. Snug, not tight; one finger should slide under.
Height
Barefoot, back against a wall, heels touching it, looking straight ahead: mark the top of the head with a flat object and measure floor to mark.
  • Size by chest. Between sizes, go up if the player wears a long-sleeve undershirt or wants room to swing; go down for a cleaner look.
  • The body is cut long to stay tucked: back length is 8-10 cm longer than a training tee of the same size. Tall players can have extra length noted on the roster.
  • The placket adds no width: a full-button and a two-button jersey of the same size measure the same.
  • Youth sizes are a separate youth pattern; a youth XL and an adult S are close in chest but the adult body is about 4 cm longer.

How to measure
1/2 chest
Lay the garment flat, front up, and measure straight across from side seam to side seam 2.5 cm below the armholes (pit to pit).
Body length (HPS, back)
From the high point of the shoulder (where the shoulder seam or raglan seam meets the collar) straight down the back to the hem.
Across shoulder
Lay flat, back up, and measure straight across from shoulder seam point to shoulder seam point.
Sleeve length (center back)
Center-back sleeve: from the center of the back neck seam, across the shoulder point (or along the raglan seam) and down the sleeve to the hem. Works for set-in and raglan sleeves alike.

Finished measurements of our standard pattern for this cut, within ±1.5 cm½ in. Your sample confirms the fit before the order is made, and we can cut to your own size chart instead.

About the custom baseball two-button placket jerseys

Custom two-button baseball jerseys sit between the full-button and the pullover. A short placket opens at the neck and closes with two buttons, then the front runs clean all the way to the hem.

That clean lower front is the practical advantage. A chest script or a large front number no longer has to break around a column of buttons, and sublimated patterns run across the body without interruption. The jersey also goes on over the head, which some players prefer to buttoning up in a crowded dugout.

Because only the placket changes, a two-button jersey can share its body pattern with a full-button home jersey (BS-001). A program can then switch styles between home and road and keep the same fit on every player. Pair it with any pant cut in the catalog and the matching stirrup socks (BS-023), with sizes for jersey and pant listed separately on your roster. Some programs choose it for youth teams, where a pullover is quicker to dress in than a full row of buttons. If you want no placket at all, the crew-neck jersey (BS-004) keeps the same open front. Your mockup can show both placket styles side by side if you are still deciding.

Questions about the custom baseball two-button placket jerseys

Is a two-button jersey easier to decorate than a full-button?

On the front, yes. Below the second button there is no placket, so a script or number sits in one piece and an all-over sublimated pattern is not cut in half.

Is there room for a front number?

Yes. The open lower front leaves space for a number beside or below the script. If your league sets its size or position, send that page of the rulebook with the order.
