How to measure
- Waist
- Around the natural waist, the narrowest part of the torso a little above the belly button, after a normal breath out. Do not pull in.
- Hip
- Heels together, around the widest part of the hips and seat, tape level.
- Hip decides the size of a brief; waist is the check.
- Size it the same as or one under the singlet: it must not show at the singlet leg.

How to measure
- 1/2 waist relaxed
- Lay flat, unstretched; measure straight across the top of the waistband.
- 1/2 waist stretched
- Stretch the waistband gently to its full width (no seams straining) and measure straight across.
- 1/2 hip (unstretched)
- Lay flat, unstretched; measure straight across 18 cm (youth 13 cm) below the top of the waistband.
- 1/2 leg opening (relaxed, along the edge)
- Lay flat; measure along the leg-opening edge from the crotch seam to the waistband, unstretched.
- Front rise
- From the crotch seam up the front to the top of the waistband.
