Choose a size from the body measurements. The garment measurements are the finished piece laid flat, so you can compare it with a top or short that already fits.
Set: V-neck jersey and game pant are sized separately.
Body measurements
Softball pullover jersey (two-button, V-neck, crew-neck)
Women's athletic cut with 12 cm bust ease, shaped side seams or side panels that follow the body to the hip, and a tuck-in length. Sleeves are measured center back so raglan (two-button) and set-in styles read the same. Youth (girls') sizes use a straight, unshaped body, so their 1/2 waist equals the narrower of 1/2 chest and 1/2 hem.

How to measure
- Chest / bust
- Youth: Over a thin T-shirt or bare skin, arms relaxed at the sides: pass the tape under both armpits and around the fullest part of the chest and the shoulder blades, level all the way round. Snug, not tight; one finger should slide under. Women's (bust): Around the fullest part of the bust and across the shoulder blades, wearing the sports bra that will be worn under the uniform, tape level across the back.
- Waist
- Around the natural waist, the narrowest part of the torso a little above the belly button, after a normal breath out. Do not pull in.
- Height
- Barefoot, back against a wall, heels touching it, looking straight ahead: mark the top of the head with a flat object and measure floor to mark.
- Size by bust over the game-day sports bra; the neckline and placket style do not change the size.
- Pitchers who want more room through the shoulder for the windmill can go up one size.
- Hem is shaped to the hip so it stays tucked into a low-rise pant or knicker.
Softball full-length game pant (women's pattern)
Women's full-length pant with a lower rise, a curved back seam and more room at the hip than a men's pant: 12 cm hip ease, belt loops and an elastic-backed waistband. Sized by hip, then waist.

How to measure
- Waist
- Around the natural waist, the narrowest part of the torso a little above the belly button, after a normal breath out. Do not pull in.
- Hip
- Heels together, around the widest part of the hips and seat, tape level.
- Inseam (body)
- Barefoot, feet slightly apart: from the crotch straight down the inside of the leg to the floor (or ankle bone for a trouser inseam). Easiest measured on a pair of well-fitting pants, crotch seam to hem.
- Height
- Barefoot, back against a wall, heels touching it, looking straight ahead: mark the top of the head with a flat object and measure floor to mark.
- Size by hip (the widest part of the seat); if the waist is between sizes the elastic back takes it up.
- Low women's rise: the waistband sits below the navel, so measure waist where the belt will actually sit.
- Leave room for a sliding short underneath; for a player who slides head-first a lot, go up for the seat.
- Sized separately from the jersey; list both per player on the roster.

How to measure
- 1/2 chest
- Lay the garment flat, front up, and measure straight across from side seam to side seam 2.5 cm below the armholes (pit to pit).
- 1/2 waist
- Lay flat and measure straight across at the narrowest point of the side shaping, about 40 cm below the high shoulder point on adult sizes.
- 1/2 hem
- Lay flat and measure straight across the bottom edge, side seam to side seam.
- Body length (HPS, back)
- From the high point of the shoulder (where the shoulder seam or raglan seam meets the collar) straight down the back to the hem.
- Sleeve length (center back)
- Center-back sleeve: from the center of the back neck seam, across the shoulder point (or along the raglan seam) and down the sleeve to the hem. Works for set-in and raglan sleeves alike.

How to measure
- 1/2 waist (relaxed)
- Waistband laid flat and unstretched, measured straight across the top edge.
- 1/2 waist (stretched)
- Waistband gently stretched to its comfortable limit (not to the stitch-breaking point), measured straight across.
- 1/2 hip
- Lay flat and measure straight across at the widest point of the seat, about 18 cm (adult) or 13 cm (youth) below the waistband top.
- 1/2 thigh
- Lay one leg flat and measure straight across 2.5 cm below the crotch seam, perpendicular to the leg.
- Front rise
- From the crotch seam junction up the front center seam to the top of the waistband.
- Inseam
- Along the inside leg seam from the crotch seam junction to the hem.
- 1/2 leg opening
- Hem of one leg laid flat, measured straight across edge to edge (elastic cuffs measured relaxed).

About the custom softball v-neck game uniforms
Custom softball V-neck uniforms put the V-neck jersey and the game pant together as one set, packed per player. Both pieces come from women's patterns, so the fit is right above and below the belt.
In a set, the pant matters as much as the jersey. A women's pattern changes the rise and the hip, which is where a men's pant pulls when a player crouches or runs. Jersey and pant are sized separately within the set, so nobody has to accept the wrong size in one piece to get the right size in the other.
Send a roster with each player's name, number, jersey size and pant size. We check the numbers against your association's rules, then bag each set under the player's name and label it. The uniforms can be handed out straight from the box, and team socks can be packed in the same bags. Youth sets come from youth patterns for both the jersey and the pant, so younger teams get the same fit in a smaller frame.

Can the set come with knickers instead of pants?
This set is built with a pant. For knickers, order the V-neck jersey (SB-003) and the standard knickers (SB-008) as separate lines; they are still packed together per player.
Can we order a few spare sets for late sign-ups?
Yes. Order spares with numbers only or fully blank, then reorder named pieces for new players later from the artwork we keep on file.
