How to measure
- Chest / bust (bare)
- Measure the bare chest (no pads): Over a thin T-shirt or bare skin, arms relaxed at the sides: pass the tape under both armpits and around the fullest part of the chest and the shoulder blades, level all the way round. Snug, not tight; one finger should slide under. Women: Around the fullest part of the bust and across the shoulder blades, wearing the sports bra that will be worn under the uniform, tape level across the back.
- Height
- Barefoot, back against a wall, heels touching it, looking straight ahead: mark the top of the head with a flat object and measure floor to mark.
- Hockey sweaters are cut over shoulder pads and elbow pads: choose by bare chest here, then check against the shoulder-pad size; a player in bulky senior pads near the top of a band takes the next size.
- Goalies use the goalie cut (wider body, fuller sleeve over the chest protector and arm pads), not a player sweater two sizes up.
- Youth YL/YXL are the sizes many hockey brands call junior; a big youth player can overlap senior S, so compare chests.

How to measure
- 1/2 chest (pit to pit)
- Lay flat; measure straight across from armpit seam to armpit seam. The hem is cut straight, the same width as the chest.
- Body length (HPS, back)
- At the back, from the highest point of the shoulder beside the collar straight down to the hem.
- Sleeve length (center back)
- From the center back of the collar, over the shoulder and down the sleeve to the cuff.
- 1/2 upper arm
- Lay the sleeve flat; measure straight across 2.5 cm below the armpit.
Finished measurements of our standard pattern for this cut, within ±2 cm¾ in. Your sample confirms the fit before the order is made, and we can cut to your own size chart instead.
About the custom hockey training jerseys
Custom hockey practice jerseys, our training jerseys, are light and printed, made to be easy to replace. They do the daily work so the home game sweaters (IH-001) stay fresh for game nights. They also spare the sweaters the extra washing that daily drills bring.
Everything is dye sublimated: color, crest, numbers and any stripes. Printed numbers add no weight and cannot crack, which suits a jersey that is washed after every session. Choose micro polyester interlock for a smooth finish or bird-eye mesh for a more open, breathable body.
Cut it over pads like any hockey top, with goalies on their own wider and longer pattern. Coaches often order practice jerseys in several colors for line groups or skill levels, and Reversible Jerseys (IH-006) handle scrimmage days. Because there is no minimum, replacing a torn jersey mid-season is a one-piece order from the artwork on file. Women's and youth jerseys come off patterns drawn for them. Names are optional and included in the price if you want them.

Yes. Each color is a separate line on one order, and you split players across them however your coaches run practice.
Do training jerseys need the same crest as game sweaters?
No, but most teams use it. A printed crest keeps the look consistent and adds no weight.
