Finished measurements of our standard pattern for this cut, within ±1.5 cm½ in. Your sample confirms the fit before the order is made, and we can cut to your own size chart instead.
Custom baseball knickers stop below the knee and leave the sock on show, the old-school look that many programs keep coming back to. Ours have their own pattern at this length, so the knee and the leg opening sit where a knicker should.
That matters most at the knee. A long pant shortened with scissors puts the knee in the wrong place, and it bunches when a player crouches in the field. A knicker drafted at its own length keeps the bend where the leg bends and the hem just below it.
The knicker is half of the look; the sock is the other half. Pair it with our striped stirrup socks (BS-023), made to the same color references, and choose any game jersey on top. Size the knicker separately from the jersey on your roster. Youth knickers are cut on a youth pattern, so the proportions hold for younger players. Many travel and high school programs keep knickers as a second pant for summer, often under the sleeveless tank jersey (BS-010), or for throwback games, and your colors stay on file for reorders.
The hem sits just below the knee, so the calf is on show. That is the space the stirrup stripe is designed to fill.
No. Any game jersey in the catalog tucks into the knicker the same way it tucks into a long pant.
