Women's full-length pant with a lower rise, a curved back seam and more room at the hip than a men's pant: 12 cm hip ease, belt loops and an elastic-backed waistband. Sized by hip, then waist.

How to measure
- Waist
- Around the natural waist, the narrowest part of the torso a little above the belly button, after a normal breath out. Do not pull in.
- Hip
- Heels together, around the widest part of the hips and seat, tape level.
- Inseam (body)
- Barefoot, feet slightly apart: from the crotch straight down the inside of the leg to the floor (or ankle bone for a trouser inseam). Easiest measured on a pair of well-fitting pants, crotch seam to hem.
- Height
- Barefoot, back against a wall, heels touching it, looking straight ahead: mark the top of the head with a flat object and measure floor to mark.
- Size by hip (the widest part of the seat); if the waist is between sizes the elastic back takes it up.
- Low women's rise: the waistband sits below the navel, so measure waist where the belt will actually sit.
- Leave room for a sliding short underneath; for a player who slides head-first a lot, go up for the seat.
- Sized separately from the jersey; list both per player on the roster.

How to measure
- 1/2 waist (relaxed)
- Waistband laid flat and unstretched, measured straight across the top edge.
- 1/2 waist (stretched)
- Waistband gently stretched to its comfortable limit (not to the stitch-breaking point), measured straight across.
- 1/2 hip
- Lay flat and measure straight across at the widest point of the seat, about 18 cm (adult) or 13 cm (youth) below the waistband top.
- 1/2 thigh
- Lay one leg flat and measure straight across 2.5 cm below the crotch seam, perpendicular to the leg.
- Front rise
- From the crotch seam junction up the front center seam to the top of the waistband.
- Inseam
- Along the inside leg seam from the crotch seam junction to the hem.
- 1/2 leg opening
- Hem of one leg laid flat, measured straight across edge to edge (elastic cuffs measured relaxed).

About the custom softball standard game pants
Custom softball game pants run full length, with a line of piping down each side in your trim color. They are cut on a women's pattern, and the piping traces that shape down the outside of the leg.
Piping is a simple way to carry jersey color onto the pant. Match it to the collar, the sleeves or the side panels of your jersey, and we confirm the color against your Pantone reference on the sample. The result is a uniform that reads as one design from the stands.
Choose these over the plain full-length pants (SB-007) when the jersey is fairly quiet and the uniform needs a second color below the belt. Sizes are set per player on the roster, separate from the jersey, and youth pants come from their own pattern. They pair with every softball jersey we make, along with the team socks. A slowpitch league or a school team can order the pants alone too, with no minimum, to refresh a uniform without replacing the jerseys.

How do we match the piping to the jersey?
Name the part of the jersey you want it to match, such as the collar or sleeve, and we use the same color reference for both. The sample confirms it.
Is this pant made as a knicker?
No, it is full length. The standard knickers (SB-008) are a separate product, patterned for their own length, and can be ordered beside these pants on one roster.
