Thin four-way-stretch fitted cap worn under a football helmet; flat seams and a low-profile, flat team mark. Negative ease of about 4-6 cm round the head when relaxed so it stays put under the helmet without bunching.

How to measure
- Head circumference
- Soft tape about 2.5 cm (1 in) above the eyebrows and round the widest part at the back: the same place a helmet is sized.
- Use the head measurement taken for the helmet: the cap size follows the helmet size.
- Between sizes take the smaller so the cap cannot fold under the helmet pads.
- Keep the logo small and flat (no raised embroidery under the helmet shell).

How to measure
- Opening circumference, relaxed
- Circumference of the bottom edge, unstretched.
- 1/2 width, laid flat
- Lay flat, straight across just above the bottom edge.
- Depth (front edge to crown, laid flat)
- Lay flat, from the front edge up to the top of the crown.
Finished measurements of our standard pattern for this cut, within ±1 cm½ in. Your sample confirms the fit before the order is made, and we can cut to your own size chart instead.
