Regular keeper cut with about 16 cm of hip ease (14 cm women's) so the sewn-in hip pads sit on the hip bone without squeezing; elastic drawcord waist; inseam a little longer than the outfield short so the pad edge stays covered when diving.

How to measure
- Waist
- Around the natural waist, the narrowest part of the torso a little above the belly button, after a normal breath out. Do not pull in.
- Hip
- Heels together, around the widest part of the hips and seat, tape level.
- Height
- Barefoot, back against a wall, heels touching it: mark the top of the head with a flat object and measure floor to mark.
- Choose by hip; the pads are inside the measurement, so do not size up for them.
- Check that the pad sits over the hip bone: on a size set, a pad that sits above the hip means the short is too small.
- Keepers who wear compression padded shorts underneath can take the outfield match short instead.

- Waistband laid flat, unstretched, measured edge to edge (double it for circumference).
- 1/2 waist (stretched)
- Waistband pulled to its full comfortable stretch, measured edge to edge.
- 1/2 hip
- Lay flat and measure straight across the seat, 18 cm below the top of the waistband (adult; 14 cm youth).
- Inseam
- From the crotch seam down the inside leg seam to the hem.
- Front rise
- From the crotch seam up the front to the top of the waistband.
- 1/2 leg opening
- Leg hem laid flat, measured edge to edge.

About the custom soccer goalkeeper padded shorts
Custom goalkeeper padded shorts protect the hips when a keeper dives and lands. They are made to go with SC-007 goalkeeper jerseys, so the keeper has a complete set in the right colors.
A keeper hits the ground far more often than any outfield player, in training as much as in matches. Padding at the hip takes the edge off those landings. The rest of the short is printed to your design like any other piece in the order.
Decide whether the shorts follow the keeper's colorway or the outfield shorts, then add them to the roster beside each keeper's jersey. Sizes come from the keeper's own measurements, with women's and youth patterns available. A club with keepers in several age groups can order every size in one run. Numbers and the crest are included, and the shorts are bagged with each keeper's jersey from the roster.

Do the padded shorts have to match the keeper jersey?
No. They are printed from your artwork, so they can match the keeper jersey exactly or follow the outfield shorts. Mark which on the order.
Are they worth buying for training as well as matches?
Yes, since keepers dive just as often in training. There is no minimum, so a club can order a training pair and a match pair for each keeper.
