How to measure
- Waist
- Round the natural waist, a little above the belly button, after a normal breath out. Do not pull in.
- Hip
- Heels together, round the widest part of the hips and seat, tape level.
- Height
- Barefoot, back to a wall, heels touching it: floor to the top of the head.
- Choose by waist, then check the hip; the drawcord takes up the difference.
- The flag belt is worn over the waistband: no pockets or loops, as most flag rules require.
- Short and jersey are sized separately on the roster.

- Lay flat, waistband unstretched: straight across the top edge.
- 1/2 waist stretched
- Same line, waistband gently stretched to its full width (not over-stretched).
- 1/2 hip
- Lay flat: straight across the seat at the bottom of the fly or crotch-curve start, about 18-20 cm below the waistband top.
- Inseam
- From the crotch seam down the inner leg seam to the hem.
- Outseam (side seam)
- From the top of the waistband down the side seam to the hem.
- 1/2 leg opening
- Lay flat: straight across the leg hem, edge to edge.

About the custom flag football belt-friendly game shorts
Custom belt-friendly flag football shorts are built with flat seams and a clean waistband, so the flag belt sits flat and pulls cleanly. They are the standard game short for 5v5 leagues and youth divisions. They also suit school intramural programs.
Most flag organizations prohibit pockets on shorts, and these have none. The flat side seams leave nothing for the flag to hang on. Full dye sublimation puts colors, stripes and logos into the fabric, so there is no print edge to snag. The print adds no weight, so the short stays light through a full tournament day.
Pair them with Game Jerseys (FF-001) or Sleeveless Game Jerseys (FF-003); the hem on both finishes above the belt. A league that wants jersey and short on one line can order Full Uniform Sets (FF-008) instead. For a league with several age groups, youth and adult sizes are cut on separate patterns. If your league publishes uniform rules, attach them and the shorts follow their wording. A free digital mockup shows the short with its jersey before the sample.

Should we choose these or the 7v7 short?
These are the standard length for 5v5 and youth play. The 7v7 short is longer, for programs that want that look. Both are made without pockets or loops.
Do these come in women's sizes?
Yes. Women's sizes are cut on their own pattern and can go on the same order as the rest of the league.
